Skincare I finished this year

2021 has finally ended, and crazy enough 2022 is just around the corner. I wanted to share with you all the products that I have finished in this year. Some new favorites, and some old goodies. I hope your new year is safe and filled with great memories.

Cleansers:

Haruharu Wonder’s Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil has about 6 more uses left of it, but I thought I would include it to give you my review of it. This cleansing oil has become one of my favorite oils that I have tried. Haruharu has always amazed me with their formulations and ingredients. I love how this oil glides on the skin, and is gentle and emulsifies beautifully.

A cleanser that I did not think I would actually finish is the Rovectin Skin Essentials Conditioning Cleanser. I bought this cleanser because so many people raved about it. When I first tied it, I realized it was more of a foaming (not gel) cleanser, and I was slightly worried that it would dry out my skin. I went through this cleanser so fast, that I almost had no backup cleanser once I finished this bottle! It left my skin hydrated, and I felt cleansed and fresh after using it. I also loved that it was in a pump bottle, super easy in the shower, rather than a normal cleanser slipping through my slippery hands.

The last cleanser that I used up this year (actually took me an entire year) is the Troiareuke P.I.T Cleansing Milk. I loved using this when I would be in the shower, if I was shaving or exfoliating, or doing a hair mask, I would apply this, and it felt amazing on the skin. You are supposed to leave this on your face for 3-5 mins and the results show incredibly. I loved using this in the summer after a long day in the sun or a hot/humid day. It felt as if it took all the dirt, makeup sunscreen off my face. Highly recommend!

Toners/Serums:

Starting off with one of my favorites is the Troiareuke Skin Complex Formula (moisturizing ampoule). I finished this bottle a little while ago, and already started my second bottle a mont ago or so. I love this toner, incredibly moisturizing, and very lightweight so it isn’t too much on the skin. I recommend this to everyone wanting to dip their toe into Troiareuke products (because you will become obsessed).

Next is the I’m From Mugwort Essence. I love this product to the moon and back. You can apply it in layers or on a cotton round. Containing 100% mugwort extract, it is extremely calming and purifies the skin. I use this every morning and night, and pair it with other mugwort products from their line.

Neogen Greem Tea Moist PHA Gauze Peeling is a product that I already repurchased and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an effective and gentle exfoliation. I find- being on a retinol- sometimes my skin needs a break from vitamin A, and I go in with this instead. I love how easy its use, and it being dual sided makes it great to use the entire pad up! Neogen has different types for different skin concerns as well!

Abib Heartless Spot Leaf is another great toner pad, I love how I can either swipe this all over my face, or use multiple to use as a sheet mask. If you haven’t noticed, I really gravitate towards hydrating and calming ingredients and products. These are great to calm the skin, and give it a bounce of plumpness.

Moisturizers/eye creams/sunscreens:

The Vita Duo Day Cream by Neogen x Joan Kim has been a new favorite of mine. I started using this in the late summer/fall I believe, and the best part of this cream is how lightweight it feels on the skin, while still deeply hydrating the skin. I always get a little skeptical about day creams because often they aren’t moisturizing enough for my skin. I was quite happy to find this cream was perfect for day, while still keeping my skin hydrated for the entire day. It also contains green tea and vitamin C which are great ingredients to be added to my day moisturizer.

Even though I don’t think eye creams are that necessary, I have been using this cheaper end eye cream. The ELF Holy Hydration Eye Cream contains hyaluronic acid and peptides that hydrate the undereye area, and create a great base for concealer and makeup.

The sunscreen that I have been obsessed with is the Neogen Airy Sunscreen (SPF 50). It is lightweight, and doesn’t give you (much of) a white cast. I love this sunscreen because it feels good on my skin, and lays well under my face makeup as well. I protects my skin- which is the biggest point of this product. It’s under 3 fl oz, which is convenient when I travel.

Though this year has been difficult, I am so happy that this last year, I started this blog. So I wanted to thank you! I have loved being able to express my love for all things beauty, and those days when we were all stuck inside, I hope you found some happiness from my posts.

What are your plans for the new year?

And new years resolutions? (mine is to finish my skincare products before I buy a new one- not sure if I can keep that promise lol)

Happy New Year!
