Skincare I am (slowly) trying in the new year

As I finish this last year with amazing skincare and makeup products, I have already ordered new products to try and I am so excited to share with you guys the new skincare that I will be testing out in the new year!

Toners:

Starting off with the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water. Containing 80% Ginseng root water, and 2% Niacinamide. This toner is hydrating, nourishing, and aids in sebum control as well as wrinkle care. This essence is great for those who may experience oily skin, but may feel dryness feel deep in the skin. I found in a few of the reviews that this toner is great for sensitive skin as well so I can’t wait to try it!

The next toner is the REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic. Containing Lactic acid (AHA) and Salicin (BHA) this toner helps brighten and smooth skin over time. I have heard about this toner for a long time, and was always interested but felt that my acne was too severe to use this at the time, now that my acne has lessened. This is on my watchlist!

Mask:

One that I was very hesitant to try out is the APRILSKIN Real Calendula Peel Off Pack. I ave never liked peel off masks, they alway hurt my skin coming off, I just felt that I out a pore strip all over my face. But I saw so many reviews of it, and many people have said that it doesn’t hurt when taking it off, and that it feels soothing and moisturizing. I definitely think that I will be the judge of that.

Serums:

The Cosrx Propolis Light Ampoule is the next product on this list. With 83% propolis extract, it helps the skin absorb and retain moisture. It has a thicker consistency, but does not leave you sticky or oily.

The next one is Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Essence. Formulated from 10,000ppm Korean black rice extract, this essence keeps the skin plump and hydrated. Consistency is very close to a toner, and sinks into the skin easily.

Creams:

Starting off with an eye cream, I also grabbed the REN Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream. A key ingredient being elderberry flower extract, which is supposed to neutralize free radicals that can cause dark circle and decrease puffiness. I am excited to try this as I don’t necessarily have dark circles, but the skin underneath my eyes is quite thin, so my blue and purple veins are very noticeable, especially on days when I am tired.

The next cream is from Aromatica, the Aloe Hy-effective Cream. I first tried this cream outs a sample I got from Yesstyle, then once I finished that sample, I knew I needed the whole bottle. This cream contains 5% hyaluronic acid and 5% vegan collagen, this is marketed to be suitable for all year round usage, and great to calm down the skin, moisturize, and improve elasticity in the skin.

The Artemisia Squalane Hydra Gel Cream from APRILSKIN is one that I have waited to get my hands as well. I love their artemisia toner, so when I saw that they came out with a cream to pair with, I got so excited. A clean, fragrance-free gel cream, it soothes and hydrates dry, irritated and sensitive skin. Which I have all three of those! Containing 80% artemisia extract (anti-inflammatory) 3% vegan squalane (hydration/soothing/protection) and has a low pH formula (5.5) it can balance out the skin.

I am excited to try out all these new products, hopefully with enough self-control, I can be slow and not freak my skin out lol, but we will see.
