Makeup I have been trying:
Last week I posted a blog about what new skincare I have been trying, and thought I should do a makeup version as well. Because I have been busy with work, I have not been wearing much makeup this last week, but I bought a few new items and wanted to share them with you!
- Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer (Satin Finish):
This concealer has been my go-to recently and I love how this looks on the skin, the coverage is insane! It blends into the skin, and actually looks like skin, which is a big pet peeve of mine when the concealers sit on the skin so noticeably. I love how the finish is skin-like, and using a light setting powder makes it last all day.
-Maybelline Lifter Gloss in Reef:
Even though I am wearing a mask when out and about, this gloss is always with me now. It glides on like a dream, and sits on the lips, without going outside the lines. It is a brighter color to my original lip color so it looks beautiful on its own, or on top of a lipstick. I definitely want to try the other shades from this range!
-Jason Wu The Bush Brow Shaper Soap:
My sister came home with a brow soap when she visited, and I fell in love with it. Because the brand was more expensive, I started to hunt down more affordable options of the same liking. This brow soap was one of the ones I wanted to try, it is a clear brow soap, and all you have to do is get a spool damp, and then rub it into the soap, and brush your brows up to your liking. I have been liking this as it gives you the lamination look, without the full commitment. I definitely want to try more, maybe some with tint in them!
-Huda Beauty Pastel Lilac Obsessions Palette:
As usual, I bought an eyeshadow palette that I will only use for a special occasion, but I saw this palette at Sephora on a couple occasions, and I knew the world was telling me to get it, so I did. I don’t have any regrets with this palette, and I have actually used it quite often. I love the pastel purples in this palette, definitely out of the norm for me, but I have been trying to incorporate more colors into my everyday makeup, and this palette has been one that is handy!
